By equipping a transformation accessory with a 5th stage pet, you can mount your pets. There are also non-pet specific guarders such as Santa's sleigh and Vroomy which can be mounted by all pets regardless of stage.
Transformation Accesory
Each of the Seed, Piya, and Bird class have 1 accessory for all the pets and 1 accessory for the rare pets. In addition there is another accessory for Valkyrie and Mall Item Pets.
Non-pet specific guarders also require special items and are usually sold though Street Merchant during special events.
Seed Pets
Any 5th stage seed pets can be transformed into a guarder by equipping the Pumpkin Lamp. Male, Fly Male, Female, Fly Female Dryads can also be transformed by equipping the Magical Lamp.

Piya Pets
Any 5th stage piya pets can be transformed into a guarder by equipping the Magical Ion Stone. King of All Chicken, Fly Chicken King, Queen of All Chicken, Fly Chicken Queen can also be transformed by equipping the Magical Pure Ion Stone.
